About this opportunity

This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the organisation's IT strategy, ensuring modern and innovative technology platforms and processes. The Infrastructure Manager will be instrumental in supporting critical organisational and IT functional transformations and will work closely in the evaluation and solution development of key investments for IT.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy and architecture roadmaps for the organisation
  • Manage the day-to-day operational technology towers to ensure SLA/KPI are met as defined by Service Delivery
  • Define infrastructure (delivery and operational) policies, standards and procedures and ensure alignment with the IT strategy and business objectives
  • Manage and oversee the planning of all infrastructure activities, resources and projects including budgeting, workforce planning and financial management
  • Develop and implement operations procedures for standardized IT operations
  • Manage transition phase from Design/Build into operational run state across all technology towers
  • Disaster Recovery Planning and implementation
  • Build and lead a highly effective team, ensuring an appropriate level of influence and management back into the IT organisation and key IT partners

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Technical experience and skills in Microsoft domain
  • Demonstrated experience running IT infrastructure: data centers, networks, and end user computing
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience with Multi-National Organisations
  • Large Team Management skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing technology and compliance
  • Ability to bridge the gap between IT and business needs
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model
  • An appreciation of IT, business and regulatory strategies in relation to IT security

Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
