Plant Operations Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Plant Operations Leader to oversee the delivery of exceptional site performance at our manufacturing facility.

The Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing operations team to achieve strategic objectives in safety, quality, production, and cost.

  • Lead the operations team to deliver excellence in site performance, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Oversee all operational practices across the facility, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, labour, and resources to meet financial targets and drive business growth.
  • Drive HSE compliance and champion a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Ensure plant reliability through effective maintenance systems, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead staff recruitment, development, and succession planning to build a high-performing operations team.
  • Manage capital projects, equipment installations, and contractor performance to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver optimal operational outcomes and drive business success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven leadership in operations management within manufacturing.
  • Strong HSE knowledge and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and industrial relations matters.
  • Ability to lead change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
