Plumber and Maintenance Specialist

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this is a permanent role on a 7/7, drive-in/drive-out roster, with a base location in Coppabella and significant travel to our Villages required. A company vehicle will be provided while on roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance across our Villages.
- Install, repair, and maintain underground, storm, sanitary, and water piping systems.
- Schedule maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Install, repair, and maintain sinks, tubs, and toilets in line with all building codes, installation requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers carrying out works under warranties and other guarantees.
- Deliver excellent maintenance services to our guests in a timely manner with a minimum of disruption to their living and working environment.
- Participate in an out-of-hours response system to support Villages 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Apply safe work practices to contribute to the safety culture at Civeo.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services/QBCC licensed Plumber/Drainer/Gas Fitter.
- Confined Space Ticket (desirable).
- Experience with solar and heat pump hot water systems, thermostatic mixing valves, and backflow prevention.
- Experience with commercial gas cooking appliance maintenance and repairs.
- Used IT systems for reporting and responding to maintenance issues, diagnosing faults, and closing maintenance issues.
- Manual Driver's License - C class.
- Flexibility to travel across the Bowen Basin.
- At least 5 years' experience in similar work, preferably in the service or hospitality industry over multiple sites.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
