Talent International is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client, a prominent State Government Department, located in Brisbane CBD. This is a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension.

The Role:

The department has initiated a project to replace its current HR/Payroll system with a modern, proven Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. After conducting an Implementation Planning Study with qualified vendors in early 2024, the project has now progressed to process analysis and foundational requirements gathering. Multiple Senior Business Analysts are needed to support the design of future state processes and manage business and functional requirements across Core HR, Payroll, Establishment Management, Talent Management, Time & Attendance, Recruitment, and Onboarding-essential for the configuration phase of the upcoming implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of business processes and user requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and project team members to design and document business processes and requirements
  • Assess and evaluate current processes to identify gaps
  • Elicit and analyse current "as-is" processes, understand new requirements, and develop "to-be" processes that align with business needs, determining the level of process change required
  • Manage requirements documentation, prioritisation, and traceability

Requirements:

  • Strong business analysis expertise
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Extensive process and data modeling experience
  • Proficient in interviewing, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication
  • Solid understanding of project management and system development methodologies
