We are seeking our next Occupational Therapist in Canberra to support an existing waitlist of NDIS participants. This community-based role offers weekly supervision with a Senior Occupational Therapist and remote support from Melbourne offices.

PACE Health Management is a team of professionals, including Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Exercise Scientists, Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, Paediatric Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, and Dietitians, with clinics across Melbourne's SE Suburbs and a growing team of remote OTs. Our goal is to improve long-term health outcomes, quality of life, and independence in daily activities.

Our Occupational Therapists work with clients in neurological, paediatric, and mental health areas, with options to focus on specific interests or take a general approach. Responsibilities include Functional Capacity Assessments, Housing Modifications, Assistive Technology, and Low-Cost Interventions.

This role offers flexibility in working hours, caseload, and areas of interest. We aim to provide a supportive and collaborative environment for our Occupational Therapists to grow professionally.

Salary

The salary for this role is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized plans to improve their functional abilities and overall well-being.

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant professional body.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
