Job Description

Project Engineer / Manager Role

This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging project engineer role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring flawless delivery of various projects to meet customer expectations and needs.

Key responsibilities include liaising with clients, project scoping, tender document preparation, cost estimation, tender evaluation, and preparation of recommendation reports and presentations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and technical innovation to help a fast-paced team perform at the highest level.

Key Deliverables:

  • Liaising directly with clients to define scope and secure projects.
  • Project scoping, tender document preparation, cost estimation, tender evaluation, and preparation of recommendation reports and presentations.
  • Detailed design and layout work.
  • Ensuring completed works are carried out in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Ensuring quality, safety, and environmental aspects are followed.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Supporting the project team within your region.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Ensuring continued business growth and success.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5 years of industrial refrigeration / HVAC or similar industry experience.
  • Project Management / Engineering experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
