Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Administrator to join our team at Cessna Aircraft Company. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial and human resources records, as well as overseeing office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll administration, banking and cash flow administration, reconcile to third-party records, manage acquittals, end-of-month accruals and provisions, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
  2. Administrative Support: Maintain credit terms and conditions, administer all tax liabilities and payments, enter budgets in MYOB, monitor expenses, and provide insights to support cost-effective decision making.
  3. Office Operations: Oversee office operations, coordinate meetings, and provide administrative assistance to the General Manager and various departments.
  4. Human Resources: Assist in HR-related tasks, including leave and superannuation legislative compliance, maintain employee records, support recruitment efforts, and onboarding new team members.
  5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, tax requirements, and statutory filings.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and implementing best practices for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a proficient Bookkeeper, preferably at a senior level, with expertise in managing financial records and generating reports.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in human resources.
  • Proficient in the use of MYOB AR and advanced computer skills in the use of Excel and the MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle office management duties effectively, with a strong sense of time management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting and tax laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field will be an advantage.
