Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to deliver high-quality and innovative civil designs and documentation for single and multi-unit dwellings and basements. As part of our team, you will work closely with internal engineers to ensure accurate completion of projects, manage client expectations, and communicate effectively with council's, clients, and other project stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality and innovative civil designs and documentation
  • End-to-end ownership of project work from concept design to construction within delivery time frames
  • Liaising and managing communications with council's, clients, and other project stakeholders
  • Working closely with internal engineers to ensure accurate completion of projects
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum qualification of a Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Previous exposure and experience with designing pump systems, onsite detention systems, outfall drains, general civil drainage, and ideally structural experience with residential and low-rise apartment buildings
  • Experience in the design of stormwater and drainage layout for residential buildings
  • Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools including OSD4, Melbourne Stormwater, Music Modelling (preferred)
  • An ability to build rapport with all types of clients and project stakeholders
  • Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes
