Heavy Industry Fabrication Specialist

The role of a Maintenance Fitter involves fabricating and repairing heavy industry equipment.
To be successful in this position, you will require:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Welder/ Boilermaker/ Fitter
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with heavy plant machinery
- Competency in interpreting plans and designs
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating new parts through steel welding and metalworking
- Scheduling regular maintenance of industrial equipment
- Repairing broken equipment in emergency situations
- Contributing to improving current plant design and assisting with re-engineering and installation
In addition, you will be required to adhere to all relevant policies, including occupational health and safety, environmental, vehicle, computer, confidentiality, quality and general housekeeping practices.
