Pharmacy Dispensing Specialist

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and handling prescriptions efficiently. You will lead a team of technicians and collaborate closely with pharmacists to prepare and dispense medications effectively.

About the Role
  • Support pharmacists in assembling/disposing medications for prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and manage a team of dispensing technicians, promoting a positive work environment and high-quality performance.
  • Relay product knowledge to customers, providing informed recommendations and expert advice.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, addressing concerns and queries effectively.
  • Process orders and unpack stock as required, maintaining a well-organized workspace.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to update patient files, prepare Dose Administration Aids, and maintain a professional image while fostering strong interpersonal and communication skills.
