Electrical Maintenance Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrician to join our team. As an electrical maintenance professional, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain and repair electrical systems across diverse range of equipment;
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLC's, robotics and automated systems;
  • Respond and rectify electrical faults and breakdowns;
  • Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures, prioritizing safety above all else;
  • Support plant shutdowns, installations, upgrades and capital projects; and
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize operations and minimize downtime.

Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold or be working towards a minimum of Certificate III in Electrotechnology;
  • Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in food or manufacturing environments;
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and electrical drawings;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • High level of attention to safety protocols and WHS practices.

While not essential, relevant experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and automation/instrumentation would be highly regarded.
