Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the perioperative setting, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room flow.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication management and wound care.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean operating room environment, adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant state or territory nursing board.
- Experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in a similar role or setting.
