Six Degrees Executive is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in placing top talent in various industries. Our client is a well-established food manufacturing organization with a strong presence in rural Victoria.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our client's team. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that inventory availability meets future customer demand. You will work closely with the General Manager and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective demand planning strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a rolling demand plan for a short-term horizon in a seasonal, highly promotional environment.
- Ensure inventory availability for a large and diverse customer base while maintaining inventory holdings in line with company policy.
- Maintain inventory integrity across the network through cross-functional communication and thorough analysis.
- Optimize stock turns while minimizing slow-moving and obsolete lines.
- Demonstrated experience in a Demand Planner role in a fast-paced, complex planning environment.
- Demand and supply planning experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
- Advanced Excel skills.
