The Teachers Registration Board (TRB) is a regulatory body responsible for ensuring the teaching profession in South Australia operates to high standards. As Manager, Registration, you will play a critical role in maintaining teacher competence and suitability.
This role involves providing expert advice, direction, and consultation services on strategic and operational policy matters. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures to support corporate objectives, as well as contributing to high-quality documentation on complex and sensitive issues.
You will be accountable to the Registrar, TRB, and will work closely with the team to advance teacher suitability and maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and management of the Registration team, including effective decision-making and team development.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining operational frameworks, plans, and management strategies to meet corporate objectives.
- Providing direction and expertise in the development of policies and implementation of TRB guidelines and processes.
- Contributing to Ministerial and Cabinet Submissions, and other high-level reports.
