Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SMP Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of mechanical equipment and assets, and providing technical advice and assistance to our project team.

About the Role

  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks on mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure accurate standards, procedures, and specifications are in place for the maintenance of mechanical equipment assets.
  • Issue, follow up, and close out of Non-Conformance Reports and Field Discrepancies.
  • Maintain comprehensive inspection records and reports, including test results, measurements, and findings.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to provide technical expertise and support during the inspection process.

  • An attractive salary package of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Position

This role requires a strong knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 9001 quality systems and processes, as well as previous experience in a similar QA/QC SMP Inspector position within the resources sector. You will also need sound working knowledge of Australian standards and codes, relevant qualifications, and field experience.
