About the Opportunity

Mastermyne is seeking experienced Underground Deputies to join our team at the Narrabri Project. As a Deputy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and productive delivery of our mining services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage underground mining operations, with a focus on cut and flit mining or gateroad development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety and productivity, while meeting project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and control project costs, resources, and timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Requirements
  • NSW Deputy Certification and Practicing Certificate.
  • Extensive experience in underground mining, preferably with cut and flit/gateroad development work.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and productivity.
  • Valid and current drivers' license.
  • Right to work in Australia.
