Welcome guests, recommend food and drink offerings while ensuring exceptional service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

">Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm welcomes to guests at the Rosana Bistro and Bar during breakfast and dinner services.
  • Prepare each outlet prior to service by setting up tables, buffets, bars, and mise en place.
  • Restock outlet fridges to par levels and maintain stock according to regulations.
  • Ensure guest enquiries and restaurant dining reservations are followed through professionally.
Key Requirements:
  • Familiarity with food and beverage a la carte dining service in a busy restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Experience with functions and events from corporate to social gatherings (200-300 people).
  • Confident handling of 3 plate carry and knowledge of wines, beers, spirits, and mixology.
  • Knowledge of modern Australian cuisine and computer literacy with POS Infosys and PMS Opera.
  • Previous cashiering experience is highly desirable.
  • A genuine interest in working in the hotel industry and drive to learn about hotel operations.
  • A positive attitude and ability to multi-task, work as a team, and take the lead in changing situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comprehension.
  • A current Victorian RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate and full unlimited Australian working rights.
