We are seeking an experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our team at KinCare, providing essential care to our elderly customers across the Central Coast in the comfort of their own homes.
As a Community Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering a range of clinical support services, including medication administration, wound care, observations, catheter management, stoma care, and PEG feeding. You will also conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluating cognitive function and continence, while supporting care plans and providing tailored solutions to meet each customer's individual needs.
You will work closely with families, General Practitioners, and the KinCare team to ensure a holistic approach to our customers' well-being, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
About You- Full AHPRA registration
- Available minimum 2 days per week (preferably Tuesday & Wednesday)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Driver's licence with a reliable and insured vehicle
- Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Double COVID vaccinated and willing to undergo a functional assessment
