Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the Adelaide area. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in someone's life every day.
Responsibilities:
- Providing Domestic Assistance: Ensuring the home of older people is safe and comfortable for them to live in.
- Assisting with meal preparation and shopping for our customers.
- Offering social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
- Delivering Personal Care including getting customers ready for the day, assisting with medication management, and supporting mobility and therapy goals.
- Providing Respite and Emotional Support.
- Accompanying customers to appointments and offering companionship.
- Supporting Customers with Complex Care Needs such as dementia.
Requirements:
- You care deeply about assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
- You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle - travel is an essential part of this role.
- You remain calm under pressure; sometimes your customer may be having a challenging day or unexpected delays occur. You know not to take this personally and to focus on providing excellent service.
- You are available to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday. No night or weekend work is required.
- You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for guidance from your Manager.
