About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heat Pump Specialist to join our team. This is a senior role that offers the opportunity to work within the Smart Energy sector, supporting clients with new product installations, troubleshooting onsite, and liaising with engineers.

The successful candidate will become a Product specialist, using their technical knowledge in a varied role that includes both onsite and office work. Full training and support will be provided by our innovative leading manufacturer and distributor of smart energy efficient solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Attending service calls with fault finding and diagnostics
  • Support after-sales service in determining solutions to any field problems
  • Respond to different technical questions relating to products, applications, and system solutions
  • Collaborate and guide customers, contractors, and installers to meet project goals
  • Liaise with Engineering and Sales teams to support and educate
  • Proactively evaluate possible obstacles to project completion and determine possible solutions in partnership with customers, project managers, and installers
  • Assist in the development of technical specifications, training tools, and guides
  • Support the Product Engineers in guiding new product development in alignment with installation best practice
What We Need from You
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience as a qualified Plumber
  • Must have the experience to demonstrate product installation and proactively approach problem-solving
  • Technical understanding and experience across heat pump, HVAC, and refrigerant systems installation, from mechanical planning to Australian regulations
  • Ideally have exposure across commercial plumbing and HVAC environments and understanding of retrofit projects
  • Current NSW Driving Licence and the ability to travel nationally
  • Experience & Trade qualification in refrigeration and/or HVAC is advantageous but not essential
