This is an exciting opportunity to lead health, safety, environment, and quality initiatives on major projects in Victoria.

The Role

  • Safe removal of hazardous materials.
  • Deconstruction of infrastructure.
  • Adherence to environmental and safety regulations.

As the HSEQ Manager, you will oversee safety and quality initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and improve HSEQ policies and management systems.

  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Lead the HSEQ team, fostering a proactive and safety-first culture.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align HSEQ objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on project-related HSEQ matters.
  • Lead investigations and implement strategies for continuous improvements.
  • Develop training programs to enhance workforce safety awareness and competency.

Your Background

  • Minimum 5 years of HSEQ management experience.
  • Advanced Diploma or higher in WHS/OHS.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading successful HSEQ teams.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to conduct and manage investigations.
  • Proficiency in HSEQ management systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and compliance frameworks.
