Healthcare Quality Assurance Officer:
The Healthcare Quality Assurance Officer will play a vital role in maintaining and improving quality and patient safety standards across our Critical Care Services. The successful candidate will have experience working within healthcare quality and safety, with a proven track record of driving quality initiatives and improving patient outcomes.
About the Position:
This is a Category B position that requires compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015: Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases prior to offer. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in the policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality initiatives aligned with NSQHS standards and the HNE Clinical Quality & Patient Care framework.
- Contribute to audits, develop action plans, and track progress to ensure high-quality standards in patient care.
- Support key submissions and reporting, preparing for external reviews, writing reports, and providing committee support.
- Collaborate with department quality leads to implement and monitor NSQHS standards and the HNE Clinical Quality & Patient Care framework.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must have experience working within healthcare quality and safety, with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
