Job Overview

The System Tester role is part of a high-functioning team contributing to the building of a contemporary technology foundation for public services.

The team is actively enhancing client management systems and reporting capabilities, focusing on protecting, supporting, advocating, educating, and empowering vulnerable community members in Queensland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance testing methodologies while adhering to quality assurance standards.
  • Execute test plans, cases, scenarios, and data to ensure software integrity.
  • Identify defects, track progress, and communicate results with the team.
  • Accurately report on testing activities during regular stand-ups.
Qualifications and Requirements

No mandatory qualifications are required but a minimum 5 years' experience as a System Tester is highly desirable.

Desirable Skills
  • ANZTB / ISTQB Tester certifications (Foundation, Test Lead etc.).
  • Experience with Data Automation Frameworks & Tools.
  • Large-scale data migration testing and automated testing into Azure DevOps.
