The Department

SBS Technology is the 'engine room' of SBS. Our primary role is to enable and support the production, distribution, and transmission of content across television, radio, and online platforms. We work collaboratively to design innovative solutions and deliver end-to-end services for our business stakeholders.

The Role

This role works across key areas of our Access Services team, ensuring the delivery of critical outcomes. Responsibilities include:

  • Working under supervision to assist with preparation and allocation of work within ASPP, ensuring SBS assets meet broadcast standards and deadlines across channels and platforms.
  • Providing high-level administrative assistance to the Service Delivery Team managing Subtitling, Closed Captioning, Audio Description, and languages other than English (LOTE) services.
  • Coordinating finance-related invoicing from suppliers.

You will have excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement, and ability to work in a team environment. Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience providing accurate and timely administrative support in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads, and work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience with media asset management systems and accounting systems such as Oracle or SAP.
