Job Opportunity: Junior Retail Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Junior Retail Assistant at our retail establishment in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will have general retail experience, although we are willing to provide training for the right person. You will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as restocking shelves, processing transactions and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Restocking and facing products on shelves
  • Processing transactions and handling cash and credit sales
  • Providing excellent customer service and answering customer queries
  • Assisting with visual merchandising and store displays
  • Performing regular stock takes and reporting any discrepancies
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment

The successful candidate will possess good communication skills, be reliable and able to work well in a team environment. The ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure is also essential.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience is an advantage
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
