About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Restructuring Specialist to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our insolvency team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice to clients and ensuring the smooth execution of complex restructuring projects.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting interviews with directors and bankrupts to gather information and assess their financial situation;
  • Attending premises to assist with the sale of businesses and preparing budgets and forecasts;
  • Liaising with lawyers, agents, and auctioneers to ensure seamless communication and coordination;
  • Overseeing the realization of assets of companies or individuals, including monitoring statutory deadlines;
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices with the team to drive continuous improvement and growth;
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables;
  • Ensuring accurate processing of information into our systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major, or a Law degree (LLB or JD) with an interest in Insolvency;
  • 4-6 years' experience in Professional Services, preferably in a similar role;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Previous experience managing a team is desirable.
