Cold Stores Manager Job Description

The role of a Cold Stores Manager involves overseeing the daily operations of a cold storage facility, ensuring that all team members are working safely and efficiently. This includes managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and maintaining control over product receipt and dispatch.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a large and diverse workforce to achieve safety, productivity, and business targets
  • Ensuring all team members are trained and competent in their tasks
  • Maintaining control of all aspects of departmental operations
  • Ensuring compliance with export control regulations and associated notices
  • Reviewing audit reports and taking corrective action to prevent non-conformities from recurring
About You

Previous experience as a leader in a similar environment is essential. Strong business acumen and financial management knowledge are also required. The ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships and respond calmly in difficult situations is crucial.
