Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at Khalsa Motors & Mobile Roadworthy. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, implementing innovative repair and maintenance solutions, and consistently prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Test and re-adjust to ensure repairs and maintenance are effective using testing equipment prior to hand over to client.
  • Repair or replace broken, worn, or dysfunctional parts and test and reassembles components.
  • Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis and performing duties in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identifying vehicle complications through the use of specific computer programs and scanning tools.
  • Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection.
  • Re-lines and adjusts brakes and perform wheel alignments.
  • Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and more on passenger cars.
  • Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer's guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
  • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
  • Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts.
  • Provide accurate estimates of cost, time, effort for a repair or maintenance job.

Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification of Certificate III or Certificate IV is required.
  • 2 years of work experience in a similar role is required.
  • Driven and enthusiastic individual with strong determination.
  • Work under minimum supervision.
  • Work under pressure.

Salary:

$70,000 - $80,000 annually plus superannuation.
