• Develop and manage the portfolio of major growth studies to deliver project study objectives, including process definition, support infrastructure, and utilities.
• Provide technical recommendations to the business on major technology selections.
• Support the MEP Whyalla Business Transformation by engaging with the investment process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Manage and coordinate key stakeholders, as well as supporting other SIMEC groups as required.
• Identify and develop major growth opportunities covering aspects of the value chain downstream of the Magnetite Coordinator, focusing on the Pellet Plant and Direct Reduction facilities.

• Tertiary qualification in Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related experience.
• Minimum years of practical experience in pyrometallurgical operations.
• Strong safety awareness and drive a positive safety culture.
• Strong computer literacy and analytical skills to evaluate complex data and draw valid conclusions.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills across multiple stakeholders.
