Unlock your potential as a Transformation Leader in our Salesforce team.

We're seeking a seasoned product strategist to lead and organise technical teams, driving the development and transformation of the Salesforce platform. As part of our largest insurance group in Aotearoa/New Zealand and Australia, you'll combine customer strategy skills with the ability to execute in a delivery team.

Your role will involve managing prioritisation and backlog, serving as the conduit between product and technical delivery teams. You'll review analytics, feedback, emerging technology, and business-led improvement ideas to inform digital initiatives and provide input into their generation and prioritisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF IAG'S FUTURE INTERMEDIATED STRATEGY, EXPERIENCE, AND ROADMAP.
  • DEVELOPING AND OWNING THE SALESFORCE BACKLOG TO DELIVER THE INTERMEDIATED AND PLATFORM ROADMAP.
  • WORKING WITH BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY TEAMS ACROSS IAG TO IDENTIFY PRIORITIES INFORMING SALESFORCE PRODUCT BACKLOG.
  • WORKING WITH THE TEAM TO DEVELOP PRIORITY CUSTOMER-CENTRIC USER STORIES AND DEFINITION OF READY.
  • DEVELOPING AND/OR ITERATING WAYS OF WORKING WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS ACROSS THE BUSINESS AND PRODUCT AND STRATEGY TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT AND INFORMATION SHARING.
  • WORKING WITH SALESFORCE AND IAG'S SALESFORCE TEAM TO ENSURE CONSISTENT MESSAGING ABOUT OPPORTUNITIES AND THE ROADMAP WITHIN IAG.

This is a full-time, permanent role open to people based anywhere in Australia but ideally in Melbourne or Sydney.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $AUD120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We offer flexible working conditions that support a mix of working from home and being in the office.

About You

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and experience rallying stakeholders behind a vision. You should have demonstrated ability to develop product or customer experience strategies/roadmaps, proven experience of deeply understanding business desired outcomes, and proven experience of creating, managing, and prioritising a product backlog.

You should also have excellent stakeholder management and storytelling experience, as well as extensive experience of working as a Product Owner in Salesforce.
