About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Consultant to join our team at FIS Australia. As a key member of our delivery team, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet their needs and drive business growth.

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our Balance Sheet Manager (BSM) Solution and its various modules, including Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Liquidity Risk Management (LRM), Market Risk, and Expected Credit Loss/IFRS9.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client requirements gathering workshops and develop project plans
  • Perform data mapping and requirements workshops, and configure systems according to client needs
  • Build custom reports, guide clients in data validation and reconciliation testing, and assist with system integration testing and UAT
  • Deliver training and presentations, and create bespoke documentation for clients
  • Assist with pre-sales activities, including product presentations and demos
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and assist with training other team members
  • Research client needs, analyze trends, and create detailed program specifications
Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience in a financial institution or software solution/consulting vendor in risk/balance sheet management
  • Excellent knowledge of risk management and financial instruments, including ALM, LRM, FTP, Market Risk, and Expected Credit Loss/IFRS9
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting, Microsoft SQL Server Database, and Analysis Services
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving and sound report-building skills using Excel and pivot tables
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems and application development
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent
