Visionary Head

Mandurah Baptist College is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the Primary School. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, and pastoral care.

The successful applicant will lead a team of educators to create a high-performing culture that promotes student learning. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Primary School.

• Lead and manage the Primary School team
• Develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive school culture
• Foster partnerships with parents and the wider community

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:

• A living Christian faith
• Curriculum and/or pastoral and teaching experience
• A sound understanding of contemporary pedagogy and wellbeing paradigms
• A sound understanding of the wider educational sector
• Strong team building and organisational capacity
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Valid Australian work rights to apply for this position
