About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electorate Officer to provide high-level support to our Member of Parliament. This is a key role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Ministerial offices, media, stakeholders, and community organisations to provide strategic advice and support to the Member.
  • Research and provide policy advice on key issues relevant to the electorate and broader government policies.
  • Coordinate and produce media releases, publications, and advertising campaigns to promote the Member's initiatives and policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the Member, including editing and writing documents, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing correspondence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong public relations and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a state or federal electorate office is highly desirable.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A annual salary range of $90,139 to $101,947 (depending on skills and experience).
  • An all-incidence allowance of $9,411 per annum.
  • Employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
