Job Title: Senior Financial Controller

The role of a Senior Financial Controller is to provide strategic financial leadership and direction in the finance function. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial reporting, including monthly close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Lead the development of budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and systems, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior financial roles, preferably in a commodities environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, GAAP/IFRS, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
