Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality electrical designs for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to support project deliverables
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of electrical distribution systems, motor control systems, and renewable energy
  • Apply expertise in power systems software and client interfacing roles
  • Participate in project development phases, including concept, FEED, and detail design

Requirements:

  • Completed a degree in electrical engineering recognized by Engineers Australia
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in industrial projects, delivering process plant projects, energy sector, water sector, or mining projects
  • In-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems
  • Applied knowledge of relevant standards, including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067
  • Understanding of renewable energy and industrial communications systems
