A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a reputable civil engineering construction company to work on a range of projects in North and Central QLD. The successful candidate will be part of a team of skilled professionals working on multiple disciplines including roads, earthworks, drainage and concrete structures.

Initially, the role will be office-based but may involve travel to project sites as required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering civil works for contractors in similar conditions and be eager to take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the day-to-day running of the site
  • Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
  • Programming and daily planning
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Assisting with preparation of financial reports and completing forecasts
  • Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met
Requirements

The successful candidate must have at least 4 years' local civil infrastructure experience and a proven track record of delivering roads, earthworks, drainage and other civil works for contractors in similar conditions. In addition, they must possess exceptional planning and organisational skills, cost awareness and forecasting ability.
