**Accounts Receivable Specialist Role**
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the billing and collection of accounts.
This position involves collaborating with various departments to streamline financial processes, enhance cash flow, and minimize collections risk. Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Finance Manager to analyze risk levels and implement effective payment terms and collections strategies.
- Negotiating payment terms with the Sales Team and ensuring timely collections.
- Maintaining Company Credit Management procedures in accordance with local requirements and HQ guidelines.
- Monitoring and managing overdue accounts receivable, communicating with the sales force and financial controller, and adopting correct collection procedures.
- Minimizing overdue recovery targets through efficient management.
- Coordinating external consultants/lawyers as needed.
- Ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.
- Managing and updating the A/R statement, including due dates, payment methods, and litigations.
- Fostering strong relationships with local leasing and credit partners.
- Verifying consistency between bank statement transactions and Customer statements.
The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, with a background in collections, account receivables, or treasury, and knowledge of payment terms, banking, and risk assessment. Strong analytical and calculation skills, including accounting knowledge, are essential. Proficiency in Excel and attention to detail are also required. A passion for finance and enthusiasm for teamwork are desired qualities.
