About the Opportunity:

We are seeking experienced educators who can teach across a range of subjects in a supportive and learner-focused classroom environment.

As an educator with Brisbane Catholic Education, you will be part of a vibrant learning community that fosters social responsibility, self-discipline and values education in all its students.

You will have the opportunity to create a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is student-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies and practices.

The ideal candidate will be able to collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluate their effectiveness; assess and report student progress and learning outcomes; and communicate these to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that aligns with the Australian Curriculum
  • Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve optimal educational outcomes
  • A passion to support students' personal and academic development

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers
