Overview of the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room Suite team in Launceston General Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will be responsible for providing safe and quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the perioperative care team. Previous experience in perioperative nursing is desirable, but not essential.

This is a fixed-term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months. Applicants should note that this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies within the next 12 months.

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary ranging from $78,179 to $105,995 pro rata per annum, with opportunities for progression to Grade 4. They will also have access to professional development and accelerated pathways, as well as a range of leave entitlements.
