About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineering professional to play a leading role in the reliability processes of our SaaS platform.

The successful candidate will have honed expertise in site reliability engineering, testing practices, and production operations.

  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will gather insights using monitoring tools to review, assess, and improve our platform reliability and performance.
  • You will bring our kubernetes-based testing environment to the next level, becoming a leader supporting continuous improvement of quality and testing practices within the whole of Engineering.
  • As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a major role in the ongoing development, maintenance, and transformation of the observability platform and SRE operations such as traffic forecasting, on-call, incident management, and production readiness.

Ideally, you'll have experience developing and testing software for distributed microservice applications, as well as experience supporting, investigating, and resolving issues in production environments using logs, metrics, and traces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of high-availability systems and services.

• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving system reliability and performance.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering and contribute to the growth and development of our SRE team.
