Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert legal advice, advocacy, and representation to clients facing disability discrimination, helping them navigate complex legal landscapes and achieve justice.
- Conduct thorough legal research, draft comprehensive legal documents, and represent clients in hearings and tribunals, demonstrating exceptional skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Contribute to policy development and community education programs, shaping the future of disability rights and promoting inclusive environments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong advocacy and negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload. Experience working in a Community Legal Centre or similar environment is highly valued, as is a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding disability discrimination.
