About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Nursing Assistant to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, empowering them to make informed choices and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a wide range of care services to residents, including communication, mobility, social activities, eating, showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication assistance.
  • Practice duty of care and promote personal safety and risk management.
  • Promote dignity of risk, empowering residents to make choices and maintain their independence.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external service providers to provide clinical solutions.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures during the normal course of carrying out duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Cert III in Individual Support with Cert IV highly regarded.
  • Previous aged care experience highly regarded.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and take direction as required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
