About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Graduate Environmental Consultant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders and support your technical growth within a dynamic and growing team.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate or recent graduate to join our environmental management, permitting, and compliance team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, planning, or other relevant degrees and previous experience working in an environmental or planning role.

You will be responsible for carrying out services that include assisting with preparing tenders and proposals, providing advice to clients and colleagues, and working in an office-based environment with the opportunity for some field-based activities.

Our team works on a wide range of projects, including construction and operational management, commercial and industrial approvals, and infrastructure projects. You will have the opportunity to develop detailed knowledge and understanding of geotechnical methods and techniques to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with preparing tenders and proposals
  • Providing advice to clients and colleagues
  • Working in an office-based environment with the opportunity for some field-based activities
  • Developing detailed knowledge and understanding of geotechnical methods and techniques to solve complex problems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification in environmental science, planning, or other relevant degrees
  • Previous experience working in an environmental or planning role (e.g., obtained as part of your degree, work experience, or current role)
  • Working knowledge of Victorian & Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills, and fluency in written and spoken English
