About this Role

Grampians Health at Home (HITH) is an innovative service that delivers acute care to suitable patients in their own homes. This approach reduces unnecessary hospital admissions and shortens hospital stays.

The Medical Officer will work under the supervision of a Director, providing high-quality clinical care to patients enrolled in the GH at Home service. Key responsibilities include collaborating with clinicians, maintaining relationships with acute inpatient units, participating as part of the GH at Home team, and contributing to quality improvement within the program.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine or equivalent.
  • Full General AHPRA Registration.
  • Medical Officer HM14+ accreditation.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in an Australian hospital setting.
  • Relevant clinical experience and competence necessary for the position.
