Previous retail pharmacy experience with a strong knowledge of Pharmacy Scheduled Area is desirable. A Driver's License and a reliable car may also be required.

Key Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities of a retail pharmacy assistant include:

  • Receiving and dispensing prescriptions
  • Advising people on basic medications
  • Stock management
  • Cleaning duties
  • Processing sales transactions
  • Performing odd jobs around the store

Providing excellent customer service and building long term relationships with customers is key to this role.
