Quarry Operator - Casual Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Casual Quarry Operator to join our team at our Glasshouse Mountains Quarry in Brisbane, Queensland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating mobile equipment, including dump trucks, front-end loaders, and excavators, as well as performing general fixed plant maintenance and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile equipment, including dump trucks, front-end loaders, and excavators.
  • Perform general fixed plant maintenance and inspections.
  • Assist with crushing and screening plant operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the quarry team to achieve production targets.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in quarry operations, including operating heavy machinery.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labor in a quarry environment.
