Process Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly ambitious Process Engineering Specialist to support the development, optimization and improvement of processes in major hazards facilities.
This role is part of a project delivery team supporting the Principal Process Engineer in achieving efficiency, productivity, and profitability for capital works programs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical reports, process engineering documentation, and standard operating procedures for projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors.
- Analyse workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Evaluate and ensure all processes and procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Review process hazard analyses (PHA), HAZOPs, and LOPAs to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' direct experience on projects in major hazards facilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
- Availability to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria.
