Make a real difference in the lives of people with disability by helping them achieve their employment goals. This role offers the opportunity to support individuals in the Central and West Metro region, empowering them to navigate the employment landscape, understand their rights, and build the skills they need to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Individual Advocacy: Provide direct support to participants, helping them develop personalised employment plans and build confidence through ongoing coaching.
  • Systemic Advocacy: Identify and report on systemic issues to contribute to broader advocacy efforts and influence positive change in policies and practices.
  • Case Management: Manage your own caseload, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping and compliance with all program guidelines.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: A proven track record of working with and advocating for people with disability, with a deep understanding of social justice and human rights.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. You'll be highly organised, a great problem-solver, and proficient with data management systems.
  • Knowledge: Expertise in the disability sector, including an understanding of relevant legislation and programs.
  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant field like Human Services, Social Work, or Community Services, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
