About the Role

Ventia Pty Limited is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Telecommunications team, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of steel frames, electrical infrastructure, solar array framework, and civil works at various sites across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate installation
  • Install metal frames and racking in accordance with instructions and industry standards
  • Install electrical infrastructure, including wiring and cabling, to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation to minimize downtime
  • Perform quality checks to ensure work meets industry standards and specifications
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Able to weld structural steel, steel fabrication, and assembly to meet project requirements

Requirements

  • Australian Driver's Licence
  • Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) Licence – Highly regarded
  • Proven experience in mechanical installation or related field
  • Ability to weld structural steel – Highly regarded
  • Experience as a Boilermaker or in a construction, concreting, or welding role – Highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Organised with good communication skills and ability to plan ahead and convey supply needs
