Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability.

About This Opportunity

The successful candidate will provide leadership across our manufacturing operations, developing and driving best practice in cost and inventory management, controls and governance to drive shareholder value.

You will be responsible for providing critical commercial links between manufacturing/operations and finance functions, ensuring standard costs are rational and logical, enabling our business stakeholders to make well-informed decisions based on accurate information.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence business stakeholders to manage costs, risks, revenues and profits effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a focus on improving our safety culture and display genuine behavioural leadership.
  • Support Operations/Finance Managers in planning, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Undertake complex cost modelling to support equipment and site optimisation analysis.
  • Lead cost-related benefit calculations to support major capital expenditure projects.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement in product and services costing.
  • Manage P&L and balance sheet performance.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing standard costing practices in an SAP environment.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver results.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • High level of analytical capability to influence business stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Commerce/Business and CPA/CA qualification.
